Ebb-Tide is in a slightly elevated position overlooking the outstanding coastal scenery of this beautiful area, enabling each home to have a beach view from the living areas and sun terraces. We offer a peaceful and superior location, that is within a minute’s leisurely stroll of Porth Beach, cliff top and valley walks. Shops, Cafe’s, Tea Rooms and family pub are close by. Ebb-Tide is away from the more hectic bustle of Newquay’s exciting holiday resort, yet close enough (20 minutes’ walk on the coastal path to the town centre), for you to enjoy all it’s facilities when desired. A regular bus service to the town centre calls at a stop a short walk from our entrance.

Porth Beach with it's expanse of firm sand, protected by Headlands and flanked by the tidal waters of Porth River, is a delight with it's calm shallow waters, ideal for safe swimming and exploring. For the more adventurous, the adjacent beach at Lusty Glaze offers adventure days to try abseiling, surfing and junior baywatch sessions. The Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay a few minutes' drive up the coast, offers a variety of out door activities, including kite surfing and land yachting together with the award winning Chef Jamie Oliver's 15 Restaurant.

Cornwall is renowned for it's beautiful coastal scenery and picture post card villages, and the county is home to some of the country's most beautiful gardens and stately homes, Trerice, Lanhydrock, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost for 70 years and now restored, Trebah, Trelissick and many more. The region has recently developed a variety of top class visitors' attractions such as, The National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth, the Tate Gallery at St. Ives, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth and the most famous of all living theatres, the Eden Project at St. Austell, which has been described as the eighth wonder of the world and is only 25 minutes' drive away. Indeed, all of these attractions are conveniently located to Ebb-Tide, being within an hour's drive.
